I plan on trying your soap when the 2nd batch becomes available. Will you announce it here on TSD?

A quickie but a very goodie this morning - no menthol stuff, because I have to start using creams and soaps which I've been neglecting. I love this Palmolive Classic cream - it smells great and gives me terrific lather and skincare. The Hega aftershave is from Sweden and fantastic. ;) :D

Have a nice weekend, folks! :)

    Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Bath Soap
Soap: Stirling Margaritas in the Arctic
Razor: ’66 Gillette Slim on “6”
    Blade: Rapira Swedish Supersteel (1)
    Brush: Whipped Dog Silvertip 22mmx48mm
    Aftershave: Krampert’s Frostbite

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angle for my beard a bit)

I ordered a 5-pack of the Rapira Platinum Lux blades to try, so I pulled out a Rapira Swedish SS to get some new shaves in so I can compare it to the Lux. I went with the Stirling MITA (a favorite). I finished up with Krampert’s Frostbite, a perfect match for the MITA! Great shave this morning!!

    Prep: hot shower
Razor: WW2 Gillette Khaki with ball end handle
    Blade: Gillette 7 O'clock Black (day 1)
    Brush: Vie-Long
    Soap: Col. Conk lime
    Passes: 2 (WTG, XTG)
    Post: Nivea Men cool kick

Less water to start with made for a better lather from the Col Conk soap, but not as nice as Proraso.

With the exception of my normal trouble spots, I think it's safe to grade this as a DFS.

Excellent shave this morning. All you soap freaks ought to give Tiki a shot, it's good stuff. If you can find a scent you like, I think you'll be well satisfied with the results. Enjoyed using the Mistura again, very nice brush. Have a good one.

    FRIDAY
    TSD Week, Day 5
A close shave this morning with plenty of coolness provided by the TSD Iced SubZero balm. Over the balm went the shave butter—which goes on like softened butter, providing a slick layer that the straight just glides upon. My face always feels refreshed postshave when I use this stuff!

Have a blessed Friday, everyone! It's a soggy, rainy one here for a change!:happy093:

Kiss My Face Cool Mint Moisture Shave face lathered very easily with the Frank Shaving finest badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with my new birth razor, Gillette Super Speed, with the Shark Super Stainless blade gave me a near BBS shave. This was just the second shave with this blade, but I am retiring it. It was tugging a bit. Not as good as the Shark Super Chrome. I love those. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and Family Dollar Old Spice AS. I'm looking sharp, feeling sharp, and I BE SHARP.

Bruce, how long does the scent in the Pinaud Lime Sec last? Is it short like most lime scents or does it have a little bit of staying power during the day?

    Excellent shave
Everything came together today for my first truly excellent shave with the SC101. I used Synergy Lavender Cedar for the first time, and it performs just as well as it's cousins. The scent is not strong, but it's pleasant.
The HIS felt great after the c40 yesterday... I'm not sold yet on scritchy brushes, but the c40 is breaking in nicely, so I will be using it again. I made a lather with it today just to help the break in process.

Prep: warm face wash with Shea Moisture TBS
    Soap: Synergy Lavender Cedar
    Brush: HIS
    Razor: Shavecraft 101
    Blade: Gillette 7 o'clock yellow
Synergy coconut bay butter balm before last pass
    AS: Krampert's Finest Bay Rum

It's a pretty short lived scent like most of the lime scents. It's refreshing but 15 minutes and it gone. (Would be a good light scent for the office.) :)
