*DONE* Burt Your Yogurt...PIF

I love a good car chase. Whether it is running down a train in the French Connection, tracking down a briefcase in Ronin, the Tanker pursuit in Road Warrior, the Terminator 2 Aqueduct scene, 70+ cars destroyed on a Mission From God, or a monkey riding a pig chasing a sheep let me know your favorite chase scene. It doesn't matter the type of vehicle.

There will be a winner of a 70s (i think) vintage puck of Williams or a hunk of Klar Kabinett. No restrictions other than conus as shipping is just cost prohibitive for me.

The thread title is from the beginning of the chase of Short Time.

 

I'd have to say the mini cooper scene from The Bourne Identity. National Treasure 2 also has a good car chase going through the streets of London.

 

I was going w/ Bourne too, but I'll have to say "The Italian Job" has one of the best, not to mention we are in a WS Community Gents!! Shave On!!

 

Maybe the "French Connection" too,, sorry guys, there's too many! I think we should tie them to the country your favorite Shave Gear/Ware comes from too.. Lol!! I'll stop, Brilliant idea Pan

 

The last car chase in Death Proof. Great idea. Or the chase scene with the Chevelle in Jack Reacher. I tried to go off the beaten path and choose a couple of the less obvious ones.

 

Not in, but "Thunder Road" with Robert Mitchum driving my "Birth Year" Ford..............

He sang the theme song too........always liked it!

Star. A mini movie commercial for BMW directed by Guy Richie.
The Driver now carries an arrogant rock star who is visiting a major city. Played by Madonna, this title character wants to get away from her bodyguards in the Driver's BMW. He soon gets tired of her and decides to have a bit of fun.

 

I have two..I don't know it is really a "car chase scene" but Hooper. My favorite part is when the chimney is falling and the car just barely misses it.




And Driven. The movie was not so good but F1 cars going through a city....Awesome.

 

Obviously Bullit. Hard to beat that.

The Ducati chase scene in The Matrix Reloaded. I remember watching it in theaters and thinking it was incredible.

Or if you like modern cars, how about Bad Boys 2 with Will Smiths silver Ferrari. I love cars and car chases, awesome pif sir!

 

Ah! I'd say the chase scenes from the Italian Job. It showed the mini Cooper could run with the big guns.

 

I'm going to switch vehicle type and say the horse chase scene from Silverado where Emmit is forced to take down his enemy with his horse (he loses his gun shortly before this)

 

I'd have to add Steve McQueen on a motorcycle in The Great Escape.

 

My two favorite are Death Proof and Ronin. The one in Ronin is incredible!
