And isn't THAT one the ONE opinion that matters, Jeff?

I'm okay with the scent—not crazy about it—but the things we do for our loved ones are often reciprocated.:D

So for tonights shave I used what is likely my oldest DE Razor. Amazing something 90 years old still works so well. I also used my new Plisson Synthetic.
For my Aftershave I went with the WSO Natural Unscented Balm.
Overall it was a nice shave. The old Tech sure did its job as did the Voskhod. The new Plisson synthetic is soft as silk but I have to say it is a bit floppy. I have to use it a few times before I can form a final opinion. It did feel amazing on the face though. The soap performed as I had hoped it would. The aftershave was nice and soothing. I went unscented as it is late and I wont be going anywhere so I figured is just use the unscented.

    Tabac Thursday
Another excellent shave. Dad's boar whipped up Tabac in a snap and I'm getting the hang of the SC101, resulting in BBS cheeks and DFS+ on my neck. Easy, smooth and comfortable.

I have the Grey Flannel AS and EdT arriving today or tomorrow. I wore it 20 years ago and am bringing it back home......

Jeff-I got some Rose of Bulgaria....as you said, another excellent Bulgarian cream. Great stuff!

    Thursday

    Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Bath Soap
    Soap: Rose of Bulgaria Cream
Razor: ’66 Gillette Slim on “6”
    Blade: Rapira Platinum Lux (2)
    Brush: Plisson Grey Badger 22mmx52mm
    Aftershave: Canoe

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angle for my beard a bit)

My first shave with the Rose of Bulgaria cream. Great lather and scent! This is another excellent Bulgarian Cream! The Slim and Lux are also going great: smooth, close, nick free. I finished up with Canoe.

Man oh man, what a shave, what a shave, what a shave - the MITA has become a top-favourite soap of mine. That scent drives me crazy and its lather is a pleasure to work with, and its menthol effect and skincare are awesome. The combination of the 444 and the Rubby Dubby Doo put so much freeze into my face that I felt almost numb afterwards! ;) :D

Nice shave this morning. I did my last experiment with the TGN Super Finest and this brush is the result. It's clear copper plexiglass with a painted knot hole. I dropped the loft to 44mm on this one. I think 46mm is right for me but I'll wait a couple of shaves and we'll see. Have a good one.

Prep: Hot shower, TSD Jasmine Sambac Preshave balm
    Brush: Simpson 56 Best Badger
    Soap: Ginger's Garden Jasmine Tobacco
    Razor: Merkur 41c 1904 OC
    Blade: Bic Chrome Platinum (3)
    Passes: WTG, XTG, ATG (6,7,8)
Post: Cold water splash, Dickinson's WH, Captain's Choice Cat o' Nine Tails AS Splash

A minor incident involving a 'love bite' from my cat had me skipping yesterday's shave. As before, there was a bit of an issue with the lather collapsing atop the preshave balm this morning, though I'd let it sit for a bit longer this AM than on Tuesday. A combination of being slightly too aggressive in my technique and the blade starting to become slightly worn got me a couple of weepers, which were a contributing factor in my reaching for the Captain's Choice to aid in the closure of those battle scars. Nearly BBS otherwise, though.

The Frank Shaving finest badger brush did a great job face lathering the Cella shave cream. This is a very nice cream. Two passes with the Gillette Super Speed '47 and Shark Super Stainless blade was all it took for a near BBS shave. After the traditional cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and some Family Dollar Old Spice after shave. I am smooth, clean, and refreshed...

For no real reason, I rushed today's shave. Can't tell from the end result though. Two passes, a little touch up and I've got a nice clean shave.

    Early morning shave

Bright & early start to a busy day today!
The Wee Scot is a great little brush. For such a small brush, it certainly can whip up a prodigious amount of chilly Margarita lather!
    Darn fine shave this morn…

    Have a wonderful Thursday, all!

Ahh another Frag head. It is very close to TF Tobacco Vanille. Almost Identical. Still comparing the 2. What I can say is it is cheaper and last longer, projection and sillage are stellar with this one. Off the top of my nose the tobacco is just slightly stronger.
