Much better shave today. Zero nicks and hardly any irritation from the alum. Being DFS didn't hurt either.

Bruce - You travel with a scuttle or was that before you left? Regardless, have a safe and pleasant trip.

Had a great shave out of this blade as I have said before I can get 4 or 5 shaves out of a blade. Well this was shave #5 out of this blade and it was a little rough. So the blade will be a different one tomorrow.

    Gem (4)
    Semogue Owners Club badger

Nice shave today. It just took me till tonight to post. Must have been that whole Daylight Savings Time move the clock forward sleep in be late for church and everything else thing.

Enjoyed the Coates Lavender but it doesn't make me want to order five more tubes like the Tea Tree did. Decided to get out my 1914 and start using it in honor of it's 100th birthday. Used it on my neck and used the straight on the rest of my face.

Dale, I shaved at home Saturday before I hit the road so I used my Georgetown Suttle but, I do take a Becker travel scuttle with me on my trips. I just didn't have time to shave Sunday morning because of meeting some friends and getting back on the road. Actually, I am home again for a couple of days and will be doing a number of short trips attending our Shrine Circuses in the next few weeks. I will be using my Becker travel scuttle like in this photo.

Yes I second that....."God Bless the Shriner's" When I was a kid I had a friend that if it weren't for the Shriner's he would have never made it to be an adult. He's gone now but thanks to the Shriner's he lived to be an adult.

Shaving Factory SF102 razor, Perma Sharp blade, La Toja soap, Proraso pre shave, Figaro aftershave. So cheap so effective. The razor costs me 10€ including 5 Perma Sharp blades. It has a strange head design.

Everything came together for a great shave. Eye-watering, nose-running, smooth and comfortable, BBS on my cheeks with DFS on my neck. Dad's brush made thick, slick lather in no time... Less airy than my HIS makes.
The Shea moisture elixir and Krampert's Frostbite work nicely together to reduce redness and moisturize my face.

Prep: warm face wash with Jack Black
    Soap: Synergy Frost_Byte
    Brush: Dad's boar
    Razor: iKon Shavecraft 101
    Blade: PolSilver SI (3)
AS: Shea Moisture elixir, Krampert's Finest Frostbite

Ah, I see you are using the Mühle 25 MM Version 1 STF. We must be in sync on that since I am using the re-handled 23 mm version.
