Sooooo... Last week I forgot to start a new Theme Week. @HolyRollah was quick to point out the irony given what the theme for the week was (or rather, is) going to be -- I Forgot I Had That! Okay, folks, time to start digging around in the back of your closets and cabinets, or wherever you're stashing your shave goodies, and find out what is lurking back there collecting dust. Maybe it was a razor or blade that didn't perform the way you thought it should. Go ahead, give it another go. Might just be your technique has improved to a point it will now serve you well. Maybe it was a soap, cream or aftershave you simply forgot about. This is the week to show your love to those forgotten and seldom, if ever, used products. Who knows? You just might re-discover a new favorite!
I pulled out my 40's Style Super Speed this morning. It just "feels" right in my hand and always does a superb job. I need to pull it out more often.........
I opened up the box of plenty and found an ugly New Deluxe Tuckaway that has been languishing there forgotten for a while. Paired it with a Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Stainless that's been sitting in the box since I split a 100 with @battle.munky some in 2011 I think. Good shave with some forgotten hardware.
I scrounged the sink closet, but nothing... All my shave related items are in my rotation :-D Have a nice theme week!

I forgot we were still doing this theme…until this morning! I dug out a bunch of old, neglected stuff I've not use in some time.
At least you still have your slant to use! (Having sold my beloved Merkur 39c slant bar in a moment of den-clearing weakness, I now shuffle off to a solitary corner to lament my loss)

3/16/14 Prep: Hot shower. Nivea face menthol face wash Razor: Gillette Super Speed Flare Tip F1 Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (1) Soap: Stirling Grapefruit Brush: Semogue 750 Post: Alum. Dickinson WH Aftershave: Old Spice Today's shave falls under "I forgot I had that" The Flare Tip isn't for me as a daily razor. I like a much more aggressive razor. Although I had a DFS it took it's toll on my neck and a nick on my cheek bone. I'll put it away until the next "I forgot I had that" theme week. The grapefruit is fantastic! Go out and get it!
I really haven't been at this long enough to forget much of anything I've got. I did pull out my Futur which has been neglected for too long and took it on a business trip with me. Used it all week with Feather blades, Palmolive shave stick, and an AOS pure badger travel size brush that I barely ever use. Got really great shaves all week long with that setup.
