If the mods approve, how about a thread for the best ways to ship all of these goodies? It took me 3 trips to the Post Office to get my PIF shipped out. Then to find out, I couldn't ship the aftershave by air. So maybe we can have a quick reference post with all of the vital shipping rules, regs, etc. in it. What I learned: -After Shave (if flammable/alcohol based) has to be shipped ground.
I ship a lot of stuff at the U.S.P.O. never had any problem and I have never been asked if anything I am shipping is flammable. I wonder why? I shipped some stuff yesterday and they asked if any of it was perishable, maybe she asked about flammable at the same time but I didn't hear the clerk ask.
The main issue I see with a thread like that would be us having members from many nations around the world - and each postal service comes with their own quirks and this thread would end up being ridiculously huge considering the size of some of the fine print regarding shipping items.
Makes sense. Didn't think of that. I guess I meant it more for a tip list on how people ship stuff so others can avoid repeated trips to the post office. Packing, boxes, etc.
