    Prep: CeraVe facial cleanser
    Soap: Petal Pusher Fancies "Scentsless"
    Brush: Plisson synthetic
    Razor: iKon ShaveCraft 101
    Blade: Astra SP
    After: Cold rinse, CeraVe lotion

I am taking a tour of my unscented soaps this week, using exactly the same hardware everyday.

    Sunday: Tiki Bar unscented soap
    Monday: Mike's Natural unscented soap
    Tuesday: Mike's Natural unscented soap
    Wednesday: HTGAM Synergy unscented soap
Thursday: Petal Pusher Fancies "Scentsless soap

Excellent shave! The PPF soap lathered easily and gave me a comfortable smooth shave.

    Physical Description:

PPF: a soft soap, off-white in color. The "Scentsless" version of the soap has a subtle botanical smell, which I presume comes from one of the veggie ingredients.

Scored a '57 Red Tip yesterday locally, gave it a whirl today.

Razor: '57 Gillette Red Tip Flare
    Brush: VDH Boar
Soap: Dove Men+ Care (Face Lathered)
After: TSD After Shave Milk with Menthol

    Razor: Mergress XL (S4)
    Blade: Gillette Bleue Extra (D8)
Brush: Spalted Maple w 24mm Super Silvertip
    Bowl: Dirty Bird 1.5 Scuttle
    Pre Shave Soap: MRGLO Lime
Pre Shave Oil: Homemade Lime & Spearmint
Soap: Tiki Soaps Bay Rum w Lime
    Post: Monster Alum Block
Aftershave: C&E West Indian Lime AS Balm

Third day in a row using Tiki Soap Shaving Soap which is unusual for me as I like to rotate through all my soaps but the BBS shaves I am getting are outstanding. Little lady grabbed both of my cheeks to give me a kiss and she commented on how smooth my face was this morning and I had just rinsed off the shave cream and hadn't applied any aftershave. Have to agree with her as the combination of Mergress, Gillette Blueue and Tiki Soaps has resulted in the best shaves that I can ever remember.

Spring has sprung, the birds are singing, the daffodils are in bloom, the Bradford Pear Tree has blossomed. Plentiful sunshine and warmth.

Hot shower the essential start to my day.
Dove for Men face wash, for facial prep.
The Fatboy and Silver Blue combo hit a grand slam of a shave.

Prep: Hot shower. Nivea face menthol face wash
    Razor: Merkur Progress (4,2)
    Blade: PolSilver (5)
    Soap: TSD Lanolin Iced Subzero
    Brush: Turkish #6
    Post: Alum. Dickinson WH
    Aftershave: TSD Milk Iced Subzero
1st time with TSD Lanolin & Milk Iced Subzero. JoAnn is a RockStar! The Lanolin lathers beautifully, does everything it's supposed to. The Milk complements the soap perfectly! I highly recommend TSD products. Plus your purchase helps pay the bills on our site! The PolSilver was still sharp after 5 shaves. I'll retire it. A must blade for your den.
    Go out and get it!

First shave with the Flair Tip in a long while. I rescued this for a very low price that I couldnt resist. I noticed I had one last DE blade left so I had to do it.

It wasn't that bad and I wouldnt mind shaving with it but I don't keep razors for the sake of having a rotation. I only keep the very best.

Ok DFS shave with some minor irritation and one weeper.

Same set-up as yesterday. (I won't bore you with the details.) But so, SO close to BBS! If I had church tonight, my LOLs (Little Old Ladies) would try to sprinkle talcum on my face and wrap it in a diaper.

    THURSDAY
    Back home again!

After spending the past few days away for some R&R, my wife & I returned home this evening. It's good to get away but always even better to be home!

Thanks to all for the kind birthday wishes! :)

My past few morning shaves have been identical.
I forgot my travel scuttle, but made do quite nicely with the following:

    Pre: TSD IcedSubZero balm
Razor: Mühle R41 (2013), custom handle
    Brush: Simpson Wee Scot
    Lather: RazoRock Cumba-Cheech
Post: Institut Karite balm or D.R. Harris Marlborough aftershave

Mostly 2-pass mornings. It was challenging shaving the Victorian-style Old-Timey bathroom.
The sink seemed to be set up for toddlers.

My Victorian Shave Den for the morning shave. I do like retro-style dens/bathrooms—I just wish they'd make thing a bit higher…

Today the Frank Shaving Finest Badger brush was used to face lather the Col. Conk Bay Rum shave soap. It took two passes with the '62 Gillette Slim with the Voskhod Teflon Coated blade to produce a near BBS shave. I finished off with a cold water rinse followed by Thayers Cucumber WH and Family Dollar Old Spice after shave. Now, I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I still love my ISZ soap and I can never neglect it because it lathers so beautifully and gives me such a great menthol sensation with perfect skincare. The 444 balm and the Rubby Dubby Doo added their own freezes which made the end of this wonderful shave all the more enjoyable. ;) :D

Have a nice weekend, folks! :)

10 lashes with a wet shave brush for forgetting (on Wednesday) that this was "soap week"

    Friday:
hot shower w/HTGAM Cavendish bar soap
    Somersets PSO
    Parker 80R 2+ passes
    Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Stainless green (1)
    Omega boar
Tcheon Fung Sing Tabacco Verde Intenso soap
    Thayers unscented w/aloe
    alum
Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve AS cologne

The Soap - This is only my second or third time using the TFS and I can't figure out why it's called "Intenso" because it's certainly not intensely scented or I ended up with an unscented puck by mistake. I covered the top of the puck with warm water and let it soak during my shower so I got a nice buttery lather but no smelly.

The Blade - Several months back I used a Gillette 7 O'Clock SS green (not to be confused with the 7 O'Clock Permasharp green) for one shave and gave it a low rating so I was curious to see if my improved technique would make any difference. Today's shave mirrored what other reviewers have said regards this blade. The edge is very keen but unforgiving. I got a very close shave but ended up with a couple of weepers around the moustache and a slight burn on the cheeks despite working very slowly and carefully. No comparison to the 7 O'Clock black (platinum) that I experimented with recently which gave near perfect shaves.

The Aftershave - Man, do I smell great!
