Informative video. And the host's intro comment was exactly how I felt about shaving before wet-shaving. Put on eyes and ears of someone not familiar with wet-shaving and the information shared was very good. We may not agree with ALL the statements made but for the sake of time, the vid was a good intro point about wet shaving.
Yeah, those were my thoughts too. If I was just some guy still struggling with a Mach 3 and not really knowing more beyond the grocery store aisle, that little segment would've been pretty eye opening.
I'm just sad he threw the Afta in the trashbin. I kinda like it But I think Corey did a great job presenting the concept of wetshaving in a few minutes.
Only being about three weeks in, going from absolutely hating shaving with a passion to really enjoying it has been the biggest surprise for me. The other has been how cool and supportive everyone is, especially on this particular forum. It is the only one I felt inclined to actually join... I read a lot of similar opinions on the various forums while researching wet shaving. Honestly, I wondered how much was the Koolaid drunk fanboy behavior that you see on a lot of specialty interest forums. Going in, I took that all with a grain of salt. I figured that worst case, it would help with the never ending facial irritation and be somewhat less of a miserable chore. I am blown away with this so far, and will be encouraging anyone who asks to try wet shaving. My face hasn't felt this good in 20 years and my wife loves it as well!
Good for you! It is easy to for one to become a proverbial 'fanboy' of wet-shaving after spending far too many years dreading the morning ritual in the past, while using inferior equipment.
Agreed. I still use my Afta once or twice a week. I thought he did a decent job of presenting but his lather wasn't too impressive.
Thinking more about this, kudos for showing the different creams. I really could've seen this as an extended free ad for Art of Shaving.
