Grandstaff Tallow My HIS lather monster easily whipped slick yogurt from the soap. It smells good, not too sweet, but clearly coconut. I have a cold, so I could be missing some scent subtleties. I got a comfortable BBS on my cheeks, but I did get some weepers and irritation on my neck. I used Krampert's Frostbite to put out the fire. To be fair, I used a Gillette Silver Blue blade and not a trusty SE yellow, so it could be due to an aging blade, and not the soap, which certainly felt great. I hesitate to generalize after only one shave, but the soap seems like a solid performer so far. Dove Men's Face Wash TOBS Lavender Shaving Cream Frank Shaving Finest Badger Gillette NEW Astra Superior Platinum (1) CWR Thayers Cucumber WH FD Old Spice AS I love the way TOBS Lavender SC face lathers with my Frank Shaving finest badger brush: thick luxurious lather. Two passes and touch ups with my Gillette NEW and the Astra Superior Platinum blade left me near BBS. It was a very nice first shave with Astras. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and Family Dollar Old Spice after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Wednesday: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Large Horsehair Barbershop Super Speed/Sharp day 3 Ginger's Garden Ice Mint SS 444 AS Balm Mennen Skin Bracer AS Santos de Cartier EdT Another awesome shave with so little effort - by the way, this Ice Mint soap from Irena is magnificent. The lather is so rich and creamy, the scent is gorgeous, and it's a good face-freezer with great post-shave care. The 444 balm and the Skin Bracer went on very chilly and nice!

Tuesday Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Bath Soap Soap: Rose of Bulgaria Cream Razor: Gillette NEW SC Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (1) Brush: Whipped Dog Silvertip 22mmx48mm Aftershave: Speick WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angle for my beard a bit) The Gillette NEW Short Comb got the call today. I loaded up a new GSB and lathered with the Rose of Bulgaria Cream (great performing cream, so-so scent). Great smooth, close, nick free shave. I finished up with Speick. Bob
WEDNESDAY Another great shave with the Barbasol this morning. I'll be returning this wonderful razor back to its rightful owner this week… Such a comfortable, efficient razor that is very similar to the 2013 R41 in both feel and performance. I'm gonna miss this one! Have a great Wednesday, all!
Off work today due to illness so a minimal shave is in order. Shower and Shave is a great pick me up when I feel good or bad!
