Finally spring is starting to take hold here in Montreal - all the more reason to enjoy a freezing shave on: Menthol Monday! Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Large Horsehair Barbershop Super Speed/new Sharp Stirling Glacial SS Diana Sport Menthol Balm Osage Rub AS Aramis EdT This is the Mother of All Menthol Freezes from A-Z. The Neutrogena facial wash is damned cold, especially if you leave it on your face for a minute or two, the Glacial soap is not for anyone sensitive because it is INTENSE. The menthol effect hits like ten tons of icy bricks and a cold water rinse followed by the Diana Sport balm and the Rubby Dubby Doo can leave you almost numb. Sorry for not showing any photos because I'm on my laptop.
Monday's Shave Dove Men's Face Wash TABAC Shaving Soap Frank Shaving Finest Badger Cadet TP-30 Astra Superior Platinum (2) CWR Dickinson's WH Aqua Velva Ice Blue It was another very nice shave today. The TABAC shaving soap face lathered easily with my Frank Shaving finest badger brush. I made two passes with the Cadet TP-30 and an Astra Superior Platinum blade. This was my second shave with this razor/blade, and I had no issues. I got a near BBS shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Dickinson's WH and Aqua Velva Ice Blue after shave.

Menthol Monday My face is still tender from yesterday, so I went for socially acceptable. One pass on my neck, and two on my cheeks. My whiskers are so dark, and my skin is so fair that I look almost unshaven all the time anyway. I would have had issues if I'd have been in a career like the military or police. It was still a nice experience... The Frost_Byte made it easier to gingerly shave, and helped prevent any irritation. It combined with Proraso green PSC and Krampert's Frostbite left me with a pleasing cool. Prep: Proraso Green PSC Soap: HTGAM Synergy Frost_Byte Brush: HIS Razor: SC101 Blade: Gillette Yellow (1) AS: Krampert's Finest Frostbite

DFS today from the Aristocrat and Merkur combo. The audible feedback from the Aristocrat is not what I'm used to but it helped me to find those trouble spots. The 444 added to the impressive chill the MITA Had already locked on to my face.

MONDAY Single-Edge Week A chance to use my only SE-style razor this morning. These razors are easy to adapt to due to the broad head surface. A very close shave. My only complaint about using this razor is the tiny handle, despite it's nicely textured grip. I can't argue with the actual performance, though. DFS+ this morning! Have a great Monday, all!
