Nice! My 'bottle' arrives tomorrow—although the container appears more at home in an industrial plant than parfumerie.
Based on the first 10 seconds of my Cella revisit, I'm going to only use this for quite a while. It performs leaps above its price point!
Arrived today: Ogallala Shave Stick, Bay Rum & Sandalwood Bolzano Razor Blades, 100-count Godrej Shaving Cream. . . picker paper and order form say Lime, packaging says Lemon Fresh (same product?) Alum Block Nose/Ear Hair Trimmer
What kind of trimmers? I use a Brookstone trimmer that lets me get as far back as the frontal lobe of my brain.
Today i gave a new brush a new home. A Semogue Barbear Classico "Texugo". Here he is direct out of his package. I love the engraving. Here a picture after a first lathering. I can only HIGHLY recommend this brush. It creates a rich, slick, thick lather. The soft tips felt very very nice on my skin but it has enough backbone to give you a good massage. I used it for the first time minutes ago and i love it deeply.
That brush is a beauty! Enjoy! Ummm, it could be the angle from which the photo was taken, but I'm not too impressed with the look of the lather it developed….
Those BC brushes are indeed great, they couldn't have come from any other forum other than the Portuguese one. And speaking of Portuguese, my cork skin and silicone-treated cotton straight razor sleeve, made by a Portuguese artisan, arrived today: The detail of the Velcro strip inside the sleeve, stopping the SR from inadvertently sliding out, as well as diminishing the contact with air, thus maximizing the effect of the silicone-treated inner layer: Cheers.
I picked up another Gillette Super Speed and Schick Krona. I have another Super Speed and original box, but this is the first one I've seen with the cardboard marketing inserts. The razor is not new but it's in good condition, and the 6 pack of Gillette Blue Blades are still in the original plastic. The Krona with a Feather blade is becoming one of my favorite combos. I had my 8th shave with the same blade this morning, and still no pulling/scraping. (Most blades are retired around the 5th shave)
