Odin's Day: Prep: Hot Shower, TSD Jasmine Sambac Preshave Balm Brush: Beeline Boar Cream: Godrej Lemon Fresh/Lime Fresh (everything says 'lime' except one spot on the label) Razor: FaTip Piccolo Blade: Bolzano (2) Passes: WTG, XTG (3, 4) Post: Cold water splash, Bloc Osma Alum, Dickinson's WH, Pinaud Clubman AS Cologne: Godolphin by Parfums de Marley Took a day off from shaving yesterday to allow the horror show on my neck to heal up a bit, and decided I'd try out the Godrej cream today. Lather was really easy to make, if slightly less stable than Speick's, and smelled very 'fresh' - though I admit I kept hearing Consuella from Family Guy in my head, commenting about the Lemon Pledge similarities. No weepers or nicks this time; I was actually surprised at how close two passes got me, with what I'd definitely call DFS+ results. Had I not skipped the face wash, I might have been tempted to call today's results BBS. I hadn't reached for the Clubman for a while, and similarly hadn't even seen my sampler of Godolphin for a bit, so both of them got a little love today.
Wednesday Morning Shave Razor: Edwin Jagger DE8911 Blade: Shark (2) Brush: Isana Men Pure Badger Soap: Proraso Green AS: Barbasol Brisk I had a nice ccs this morning, and I was too busy at work that I couldn't share today's shave earlier. My badger brush has been loosing 10-12 bristles a use and I'm getting worried. Btw, today I received nice shaving products from Bulgaria and Turkey. Tomorrow morning, I'll try a Bulgarian shaving cream.
SoS 4/9/14. Hump day! Prep: Hot shower. Nivea menthol face wash. Razor: Ever Ready 1914 Blade: Gem Stainless Steel Soap: WSO Zaro Brush: Semogue 750 Post: Alum. Dickinson WH Aftershave: Clubman Lilac Vegetal-444 Excellent shave! Zaro is crazy good! Zaro lathers so well, I had such a thick, creamy lather on my face I cut part of my mustache off my accident. It's going to be hot again! Go out and get it!
I remember when I was about 5 thinking that a mustache was just hair growing out of a man's nose. I could see the hair in my Dad's nose. 1+1...

Thursday Morning Shave Razor: Edwin Jagger DE8911 Blade: Shark (3) Brush: Vie-Long White Horse Hair Cream: Kyna Cologne: Tariş Lavender My first shave with Kyna shaving cream was good. I had a great BBS. The scent is ok, a natural scent but barely sensible.
Thursday Morning Shave - 10th April 2014 Prep : Shower + a lot of hot water Razor : Gillette Tech with IDF stainless steel handle Blade : Q-Ball (Crystal Israeli Personna) Lather : MdC Fougere + MEM Olive Brush : Omega Pro 20048 Post : Thayers Witch Hazel + Floid Blue AS Scuttle : Yoresh double-walled Well, basically I'm going with this setup for about a month or so, with no changes, except the aftershave. Same razor, same blade, same brush and same lather. Everything works fantastic for me and I have no reason to change anything. As usual, 2 passes WTG+ATG and I'm good to go with a BBS. I hope everybody is having an enjoyable Thursday morning shave, weekend is coming !
