Hi! I decided that it was about time to register here. I've been into the whole traditional wet shaving things for about six months now, the first month with a DE and straight razors after that. And I just wanted to say hello. Hello everyone!
Thanks for the welcomes. I definitely prefer straights. I've picked up my DE (a Merkur HD) one or twice since I started shaving with straights, and the last time I did that I got an uncomfortable shave. So I don't see myself switching back any time soon.

I live in the Netherlands, but I'm half Dutch and half Swedish (and I've lived in Sweden as well). Living in the Netherlands is nice shave-wise because I have easy access to some cheap and good soaps and creams.
