Between that and the closeness of the shaves I've gotten the past couple of days, a 1-pass, SAS shave seemed perfectly reasonable today. No nicks, no weepers, no irritation, and my face feels great with the Aveeno.

Have a great weekend Gentlemen. I will be traveling for the next few days so may not get a chance to post but I will be following the forum so, keep those great shave pics coming for me to enjoy on the road.
Friday, April 25 - Birthday Week, Day 4 Prep: Hot shower, Axe Chilled Face Wash, homemade PSO, lather, hot towel Brush: Simply Beautiful Badger Soap: Arko Razor: '66 Slim (4) Blade: Polsilver (1) Post: Cold water, Thayers, styptic, cold water, Thayers, Cetaphil lotion Poo-Goody: Aqua Velva Musk 2 passes - W, A, touch up Another poor shave. The right side of my neck looked like I shaved with a cheese grater. I got myself good on the right corner of my lip. My jawlines are rough. On the plus side, I'm adjusting to the scent of Arko (it lightens up when lathered), and I had a nice cigar this morning.

I'm still not thrilled with it. I find I have to use more than other creams (TOBS or GFT) and it just doesn't slick up for me. I also find the sent just meh.

Thank you....I have been able to collect a Georgetown Pottery G1, G2, G3, G4, and G5. It took me a little over two years to find the G1 (BST). I contacted Georgetown and they had a G2 and G3 laying around from years past. I purchased the G4 on a BST. Got the G5 from Georgetown. Of all my scuttles, the G4 is about my favorite; plus I get nice warm lather. The shape and symmetry of the bowl is perfect for making lather with creams/badger brushes. I may be a little geeky but I still get a kick out of this hobby.
