I just got a puck of AOS Sandalwood from my brother for XMAS - God bless him! I had resisted AOS before as pricey knock-offs, but have to admit I really liked the Sandalwood. As always YMMV, but if you can get someone to buy it for you...well...
I absolutely hate the AOS marketing crap, but I got a tub of their sandalwood cream for Christmas and I have to admit it's excellent.
I have the AOS Sandalwood and Lemon creams as well as matching pre-shave oil and ASB. All fantastic products and available at the local Nordstrom. Now someone needs to talk to them about the "Art of Shaving" and cartridge razors.
If you keep an eye on amazon, you can get good prices on AOS stuff from time to time. I got a puck w/wooden bowl of AOS sandalwood for about the regular price of an AOS refill. And I got a couple of Lavender cream tubs for 1/2 price. If you're patient, you can get them relatively cheap.
I'll admit that the way they promote is somewhat cheesy but their creams and soaps are top notch. I have used their creams for some time with excellent results. Raf
At least they sell DE razors. I was in the store and they have a bone handle that is absolutely gorgeous....just a wee bit overpriced. They also sell TI straight razors with the Art of Shaving on the blade. IF they get a horn handle one that looks like the horn on the DE one, I just may bite!!!! Prices on those Str8's are fairly competitivley priced.
They sure do. Just trying to appeal to the masses. I guess... Although they have a new fusion razor that has a light on it to get rid of the shadows on your face so you see where you are shaving better...now that is cool. And by shadow I don't mean the 5'o'clock kind.
