True, but my point was the Dorco carts I've occasionally bought for years (and bought today) would fit either handle. The ones on the site have new packaging and a note says only that they fit Atra; nothing about Trac II. It's probably just a minor error on their part; the ones I bought today still say they fit both, but then it is the old packaging, too.

Your right, the store brand I buy will fit either, but I don't think the ones on the Dorco site will. I could be wrong though.

If so, I hope they don't figure their customer base for Trac II's is dying off, even though it's not impossible that it is. Good results can come from a ProGlide but shave for shave (and $ for $), the Dorco Trac II will stand up against any cartridge available today. If I had a son, that's what I'd start him out on.

I don't see the point in the DSC. Who the heck needs four cartdriges a month? A Gillette Fusion gives me easily two dozen fuss-free shaves. So in the end, you don't save anything but instead spend more than you would normally.

People who don't get two dozen fuss free shaves? On any cart, if I tried to get more than 5 out of it, I might as well take an exacto knife to my face as the end result would be the same. I don't do carts anymore, but for $3 for a month's worth of daily shaves versus $15 or so I was spending on carts, I'd go with DSC.

Open a tin of tuna - in water. A cat would kill for a sip of that tuna juice.

Really? You don't get more than five shaves with a fusion? Though I have a heavy beard, I easily get about 15 fuss-free shaves with a fusion and about 25 with a fusion power or proglide. They really are that resilient. After five shaves only the lubrastrip has worn off but the blades are still as sharp as initially.

I didn't get more than 1 shave with a Fusion. I tried it once and tossed it. It further proved to me that anything with more than 3 blades was instant razor burn for me. I used to use Mach 3's and liked them, but couldn't do more than a week's worth of shaves with one, and that was maybe 4 shaves. The fifth was always dicey. I'd get rid of cartridges as soon as they caused a problem, and none ever lasted me as long as they last you. I'd also toss disposables after about the third use for the same reason. This is why the prices were killing me and I eventually moved to Norelco and then DE.

The Mach 3 is my favorite cartridge, still a nightmare for me though. have you tried single blade bics?
