Pre - Shower and Neutrogena razor defense face scrub
    Razor - R89 Bulldog
    Blade - Personna plat (3 - flipped)
    Cream - TOBS Grapefruit
Brush - Omega 71276 Finest banded badger
Post - Shea Moisture Tea Tree AS.

There is just something that I love about TOBS creams. They explode into a rich and creamy lather that can even tame a Personna blade on its forth run (three is about it for me). The scent kinda lingers and the wife loves it.

    Hi Friends,

    Today´s Shave of the Day:

    -Prep: hot towel
    -Soap: RazoRock XXX
    -Brush: Semogue "Barbear Classico Texugo"
    -Razor: 1957 Gillette Red Tip
    -Blade: Personna Med Prep.
    -Aftershave: Floid "The Genuine"

Very nice. The 1957 Gillette shaves directly and at the same time very smooth and gentle. I love it. The combination with the Personna Med Prep. blade is very good. Sharp as a Feather but without giving irritations or whatever. This will be the last shave with a DE Razor for a longer time, because in the following week i will receive my custom made straight razor.

    :happy093:

    So my Friends,

Have a great time. Take care of you.

    Greetings
    Thorsten

    Dove Men's Face Wash
    Cella Shave Cream
    Frank Shaving Finest Badger
    Gillette Aristocrat '47
    Astra Superior Platinum
    CWR
    Dickinson's WH
    FD Old Spice AS

The Cella shave cream face lathered easily with my Frank Shaving finest badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Aristocrat and Astra Superior Platinum blade left me with a close comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Dickinson's WH and Family Dollar Old Spice after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed.

My Sharp blade has pretty well reached the end of its cycle but it still gave me an excellent final shave albeit with some effort and I experienced a bit of tugging even during the first pass. The Proraso Green pre-shave cream and soap provided plenty of nice menthol cooling which is right up my alley for this high eighties heat and humidity down here, and when I was lathering up my forehead looked pitch-black in contrast to the soap's lather. The Skin Bracer is one of the best mentholated aftershaves you can find for so little money - too bad that the wife doesn't like the scent. ;) :D

Minimal May continues with another fantastic shave!
Prep: warm wash with Stirling Barbershop bath soap, then application of homemade PSO
    Lather: Godrej Cool Menthol
    Brush: Vie-Long 13061
    Razor: Weber PH
Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Platinum
Post: cold rinse and Old Spice aftershave

I am getting used to the Weber more with each shave and I am starting to become a believer. Really paid attention to shave angle today and was well rewarded with a DFS for my efforts.

RazoRock San Valentino this morning. The Argan Oil RR Artisan soaps do a great job. I like the Lemon/Rose scent of the San Valentino too. Great Sunday shave. I finished up with Grey Flannel.

    SOTD:
Fell into the mind game this morning. Noticed a crack in the handle of my 'Old Type' that want there last time I used it.

Guess I will put her up and go with a different razor this week.

Didn't get the best shave, but a good one at least.
