Is WS Quattro Titanium good?

I am a heavy Gillette Fusion user. So far I am really happy with the shaves that the Fusion gives me. However, I heard some good stuff for the Wilkinson Sword Quattro Titanium as well. For those who have used it, is it any good? Does it last long? Thank you.

I've never gotten a good shave from Schick carts, but that one seems to have a large following.

When I used carts I was a Mach 3 fan. I tried Fusion but that 4th blade just killed me. Keep that in mind when I say: I was never a fan of Shick in general, and I tried the Quatro when it came out and hated it. It just tugged and burned compared to the Mach 3.

I use a Schick Quattro Titanium sometimes when I grow out a chinstrap beard. I like the cartridge razors with the trimmer on the back for defining the lines of my chinstrap. The Quattro was decent. I got consistent shaves. I am a fan of Schick blades. I will say the trimmer is set a little further back in the Quattro than the Fusion so you can't see the exact point of contact, but it's not too bad though.

In my personal opinion. The best razor if you're maintaining a beard is the Gillette Fusion Proglide Styler. It has the beard trimmer and you can attach a cartridge to it and shave after you trimmed.

I am not a fan of the Quattro, the Mach3 or Schick Hydro3/5 are better. The new Personna private label GT5 (marketed as the Quattro 5 in Japan) is a good bet as it is a five bladed version of the Quattro without the wire guards...

  6. I like the Quattro a lot. It shaves nice and smooth; plus the blades are really sharp. I use Quattro about 1-2 times per week with the Hydro % and the Fusion. I find the disposable Quatrros with the 4 razors instead of three and use the $2 off coupon from the package before. I do this for the Hydro 5 also. I have with other discounts (Target) forgotten as low as $1.50 per razor. Pretty good in my book. I picked up the AOS Kensington Fusion Pivotball the other day. Still evaluating and will review later.
