A small packet arrived from China today. Bought on e-bay from the seller virginiasheng about a month ago.

Three shaving brush stands. Should have bought more when I think about it.

I had only used the witch hazel the one time when I first read this. It does have a scent, but it didn't strike me as "industrial". I found it to be not a bad scent, and very quick to fade. When I transferred it to spray bottle, I paid more attention to the scent and now the "industrial" seems to fit. There is something hiding under that "industrial" part that I find familiar but can't place my finger on...

I was planning on picking up the Thayer's Unscented, but just happened to find this first. When it's done (or sooner) I'll probably try the Thayer's stuff.

I've been looking for a nice Aristocrat at a decent price, and I finally found one at an antique mall today.

    Here she is:

Last Haul in May...I ordered an Merkur 41c (Open Comb) also known as Merkur 1904.

I like the classic handle. Hope it will shave as it looks. ;)

Gillette New Short Comb Bar Handle. I think I really am going to like this razor!

I just had my second shave with a Gillette New Long Comb I recently purchased. Super mild razor that gives great shaves, even with a mediocre Merkur blade.

GEM Micromatic Bullet Tip, GEM Micromatic open comb, and a Schick E-type injector (yup E not G) which I bought as a lot for $14 shipped (I was the only bidder). The injector needed a slight adjustment and is now working 100%. The Micromatics, not surprisingly, are in perfect working order. I know people passed on this because of only one bad picture the seller had up. I didn't even know if it was a MMCP or MMOC or if the Schick was a G or E. In this case my risk payed off.
