I'm looking to get a cheaper razor for travel. Taking any suggestions, I have sort of sensitive skin so I want something decent that won't shred my face up. I use a Merkur HD and muhle r89. Weishi??

I actually have this one: http://www.amazon.com/Stainless-Double-Manual-Safety-Razor_Vintage/dp/B00IB1LE7I/ref=sr_1_3?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1401494939&sr=1-3&keywords=rimei razor It is more expensive, but still cheap. It is a mild good shaver too.
I'd recommend a Gillette Tech. The Ball End Tech is readily available on Ebay and at antique shops, inexpensive, and a mild shaver.
I travel with what I already have. A razor is a tool; if it gets lost or broken, replace it. Just don't travel with heirlooms.
Yep, this. Take what you're used to using on the road. Just don't take something that's not replaceable.
I take my Muhle R89 a lot. It can be replaced if it gets broken/lost/stolen. Or not, since I have other razors that shave as well now too.
Currently I'm using a flare tip Rocket and a Boker 5/8ths spike point. I've got a couple of those Gillette Techs with the stubby handles designed for travel, but I've never liked them much, so they stay in their drawer.
I recommend Ri'mei which shaves great. 5 bucks. http://www.dx.com/p/rimei-men-s-manual-razor-shaver-silver-201352#.U44TexZjBFw
