It would take me that long to grow a beard. It looks like the next time Friday the 13th & a full Moon will actually happen is in 2049.

    Hot shower
Prep: Lime & Tea Tree PSO
    Brush: Whipped Dog Silvertip
    Soap: Stirling MITA
    Razor: 1956 ball-end Tech
    Blade: Gillette 7 O'clock Black (3)
    Aftershave: M-Bombed Clubman

I'm really liking the M-Bomb. It chills anything, any time. 3rd sub par shave in a row with the 7 O'clock Black in three different razors. It's 86'd. The last time I used one, I had 5 great shaves. Go figure.

I never thought I'd ever say this, but something tells me I might have to consider giving away all my other soaps and creams because I feel like I'm neglecting them too much - these darned Stirling soaps have practically taken over my rotation, and the more I use them the more I love them. The Glacial Wintergreen gave me everything I want in a soap - such a nice and invigorating scent, great lather, lots of skincare, and best of all a menthol effect which makes your face feel like it's coming off. By the time I finished the first pass my eyes were tearing and my nose was running, and the second pass felt ten times colder. The Gillette balm was very soothing and chilly as well. The Rubby Dubby Doo was so cold that even now I can still feel the tingling from it. This was such a heavenly shave. ;) :D

yesterday was a wash out in central Florida, it rained like four times. today supposed to be more of the same. couldn't get my things done, hate it when they encroach on my weekend.
oh well, when life hands you lemons. I twisted this a little with today's shave,I went with limes.
hot water wash with nivea men's fw
    semouge 620
    musgo real lime& basil
    Merkur 23c
    Lord platinum (2)
    pinaud clubman original

this morning shave was nice. up before everyone else, quiet. I wanted to try the lime/ basil sample John sent me, it is really good. the lime is actually real lime, and the basil is noted only while shaving with it. lather was tremendous.I think John Beeman must be a lather guru. thanks John.I used the 23c, first time today. same head as heavy duty, with a longer handle. I like it. I'm 6'6", the bigger handle fits me better.
three passes,a little more touch up than normal, new razor an all. the result was a dfs++, close everywhere but one little shot on my right jawline. good enough for me.
finish with clubman, it's got some lime in it somewhere doesn't it.
Gotta finish today what was rained out yesterday. hope y'all are doin fun stuff instead 20140614_060411.jpg

    Saturday:
hot shower w/Grandpa's Sandalwood bar soap
    Homemade PSO
    Gillette Aristocrat 2 passes
    Gillette 7 O'clock Super Platinum black (4)
    VDH boar
GoldDachs Sandelholz soap in a warm mug
    Thayers unscented w/aloe
    Sante Homme AS

Lots of overtime at work the past several weeks so most of my shaves have been quick and I haven't the time to take pictures.
One benefit though is I've ended up getting to shave more often since I don't have the time each day to get as close as I normally prefer.

Excellent products all around today from start to finish and I recommend every one of them.

Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Coniferous Bath Soap
    Soap: Coate’s Sandalwood Cream
    Razor: Gillette Slim [6]
Blade: Gillette 7 O’Clock Yellow Sharp Edge (2)
    Brush: oscar11 TGN 2-Band Finest 24mmx50mm
Aftershave: Krampert’s Finest Bay Rum Acadian Spice

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

Coate’s Sandalwood today. Ten seconds to load the brush and go. Great cream, great shave. Slim and Ol’ Yeller did just fine. I finished with Krampert’s Bay Rum.

    Noxzema Classic Clean
Taylor of Old Bond Street Lavender SC
    Made Rite w/TGN Synthetic
    Gillette Fatboy F2
    Derby Extra (1)
    CWR
    Thayers Cucumber WH
    Aqua Velva Ice Blue

I took a little more time today by bowl lathering with the Made Rite synthetic and TOBS Lavender SC. It was a rich, slick lather. Two passes and touchups with the fatboy and Derby Extra left me with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Pre: Maggard razors PSO – Sweet Orange
    Brush: VDH Boar
    Soap: Arko
    Razor: Maggard Razors M3
    Blade: Voskhod (2)
Splash: Shea Moisture Shave Tea Tree Herbal AS Elixir
    Post: Gillete After Shave Gel
    After: Pacific Shaving Moisturizer

Still a little tentative using the M3. But todays shave went very well. Couple of very minor weepers. Didn’t even need the styptic. Got super smooth every where but the very back of my head near the neck, as the terrain is rougher there I used a super light touch. I’m also stil having some issue with getting the Arko to lather satisfactorily. Used the VDH boar today and that helped but it seemed like the soap lacked staying power and glide. I’m going to keep at it though because I love the scent! So overall today – a DFS (DARN fine shave for @Jayaruh :) ). As an aside… a post on here has inspired me to stop chasing BBS all the time and just enjoy the shave. I’m really going to try and do that.. Really. I am. No serious.
