I like the Clubman Bay Rum too, but it's a splash not a balm. I'm not sure I've heard of a balm, but I'd be interested in a bay rum balm too.
I got one on etsy that was homemade and it smells better than samples of the commercial bay rum aftershave. However my wife doesn't like the bay rum smell do I got the razorock bay rum soap and it smells nice. FYI if you get in the same situation but still want bay rum scent http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/your-top-5-bay-rums.36854/
What a good selection, I just loaded up on some face food, soon as I run out of 1 i will pick up some bay rum. Thank you for the info.
I would try here https://www.etsy.com/shop/CaptainsChoiceStore?ref=l2-shopheader-name Very reasonable get a sampler package.
+1 on all of the above,I'll add TSD Signature,it's bay rum with I think bergamot.Gilbert Henry makes a bay rum cologne that's really long lasting,6+ hours on me,8 and more if I use Canvas .Canvas is a frag primer that helps with longevity,I only use it with the weaker frags that don't have much lasting power.YMMV!
Anybody ever use Dominica Bay Rum? Thinking of getting it, as it's more natural than what I use now, but want to make sure it's a good product.
I consider it the quintessential bay rum, although I do enjoy many others. Dominica is "straight-up"double distilled bay rum, no frills. The Lime is a terrific compliment.
It is getting increasingly hard to find. The main distributor in North America can't seem to get it. http://www.calantilles.com/outofstock_alt_br1002.html I have seen at The Vermont Country Store and J. Peterman. You will pay a premium. Samples here: http://sampleshop.blogspot.com
I think it is the next best thing to Krampert's Finest. Dominica has been around since at least the early 1990s, if I recall correctly.
