1972 Gillette Black Beauty adjustable

Just scored a black beauty. Can't wait. My Rad is in overdrive.

Congrats. Better than the Slim or the Fatboy (subjectively speaking). I miss having had to part with mine.

I feel naughty for saying it, but I think I like the BB better than its predecessors, too! I'm thinking it somehow feels a little more maneuverable. However, I abstain from an official vote!

I'll just be here, on the fence, trying to keep all three adjustables in rotation. Can you shave while sitting on the fence?

 

With a Slim or BB, maybe, but the Fatboy'd make you lose your balance and fall down in the yard.

 

Just got the BB in today clean instrument. Can't wait to shave with it tomorrow. Cleaned/disinfected/ polished. Ready for first shave.

I got my dad a BB for Father's Day last year. He said he loves it. I used it once and enjoyed it.

 

Shaved with the black beauty and I enjoyed it. At level 4 . Very smooth. I go a steal of a deal the pictures looked kind of ify. When j received it this is in excellent condition no rust. Was very dirty but it cleaned up great.

I got a 1979 Black Beauty from a guy at work and its great. I also bought a New Bar Handle short comb for my birthday and I told my wife I wouldn't use it until then so I can't speak on that yet.
