Good shave is truly one of the best feelings of being a man, turning a choir into an experience and the bayrum over bbs is icing on the cake. But cream yeah you do get what you pay for. Taylor of Old Bond Street Shaving Cream Sensitive skin, I underestimated its lathering ability which is impressive in the brush, smooth on face. Dries out on face fast so add water as needed but I received no irritation to face as found in other scented creams. Proraso for example. Cream takes to adding water into the shave cream bowl well without turning into soupy bubbly mess for re application.
Chris, I have read this a couple of times and am not sure what you are trying to tell us. Sounds like you like the TOBS sensitive, no irritation, have to be careful in adding water. Good it works for you....TOBS creams are wonderful.
I just ordered some TOBS coconut cream. Can't wait to try it. Trying to get all my orders in before July.
I think the part about the water is that the cream is forgiving =) I but that writing make me curious about TOBS cream =P
Back during the winter i got some TOBS Lemon Lime and I loved the smell, but i think it dried my face out too much or just irritated my face, so i had to put it away until the summer. I'll be getting it out this weekend so hopefully it will be more agreeable this go around.
TOBS rocks. I love it. I've got a tub of St. James coming in the mail. I hear the Queen uses it to shave her old lady mustache.
I'm on my first creme in my TOBS sampler (St james) and loving it! Excited to see how some of these beloved scents smell once you lather em up and get those scents fired up.
I've only used Jermyn Street and Eton College so far, I do enjoy the Jermyn Street. Eton isn't bad just not my kind of citrus.
Trying to get rid of some store credit so I ordered Eton College cream for the first time. Can't wait to try it.
Quality lather TOBS, but have had the same drying out issue. Probably just need more water, but I really like the sandalwood scent!!
