Anyone here have a recommended person for watch services? I would like to use but first must restore and service/repair as needed my great great grandfather's pocket watch.

I contacted a few on-line guys who advertised their services (and appeared reputable) but never got an answer from one and the other was way too cost prohibitive for me. There's no one local to me anymore who does it, that I'm aware of. I don't want to sound discouraging but it's a dying art. I do hope you are able to get it repaired!

The Watchuseek forum might be a good place to ask. They are like The Shave Den for watches.

    Neolithium I am Canadian, eh

I'd go with this option, they will find a reputable place to do the work you need.
