I came to realize these past few days that I haven't bothered about using any ASB now that the weather is heating up. I shave and then apply some non-alcoholic A/S Splash by Stirling and off I go. During the "winter" months (well, as much a winter as it gets here...) I always used an ASB as my skin felt a bit more dry. Do you notice that your post-shave change with the season - and if so, what is it now during the summer time?
I use mostly bay rum in the winter months as it's slightly warning, Floid blue or similar scents over the summer with maybe a dab more menthol for cooling
I still keep things in rotation, but I'm coming more and more to the Osage Rub now that it's warming up.
I rotate A/S same as I do razors and soaps year round. We do have quite a change of seasons up here too.
Aqua Velva and lime AS in the summer and bay rum and Clubman in the cold weather months. And throw on some Lucky Tiger AS and face tonic with some VEG in the winter when I am feeling particularly suave. Dave
I am more likely to go mentholated with my lather on Summer morns; although honestly I'm just not that big a fan of the menthol chill.
So far it hasn't. I still do an ice cube rub after cold water rinse, splash/balm, then moisturizer. Started in the Summer of '13 and did it all through our hellacious Winter LOL
Splashes all year round. Balms in the cold dry weather after a splash. Personally, I like citrus and light floral scents in warmer months... something a bit woodsy or grassy in the fall and winter. But I don't adhere to this 100 percent. So many products... so little time
