Shawna my dear - what a pleasure to see you again after so long. By the way, Corinne wears Thierry Mugler Angel also, and it's one of her top-favourites! :) God grant you a speedy and healthy recovery and a safe return to work!

This morning was 16. I've only been using them for the past few months but, so far, they seem to be a great blade for my razor/skin/beard combination.

    Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap
    Frank Shaving Finest Badger
    Gillette NEW
    Astra SP (2)
    CWR
    Thayers Cucumber WH
    Aqua Velva Ice Blue

Yesterday, I switched over to my Frank Shaving brush, the Gillette NEW, and Astra SP blade. They are working well with the Mitchell's. It lathers great with the FS brush. Two passes and touch ups with the NEW and Astra Sp left me with a close, comfortable shave. I really like how the Mitchell's rinses so cleanly and the way my face feels afterwards. A cold water rinse followed by Thayers Cucumber WH and Aqua Velva Ice Blue after shave finished off this really great shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Shave of yesterday

    Pre- Hot shower

    Soap/cream- Stirling sharp dressed man

    Brush-Plisson synthetic

    Razor- Mühle R89

    Blade- Gillette 7'o clock yellow(2)

Post- Cold water rinse and nivea ASB

Awful shave. I was tired but I thought it might be relaxing and good for me. I know now that when I'm that tired I should not attempt to shave. No nicks or weepers but it was not very close and relaxing

Edit: To comment on the Stirling soap, I got great lather thick and creamy. Really like the sharp dressed man scent. @RaZorBurn123 how I'm I gonna pick the favorite 3 out of 10? I will end up buying them all =D

There's nothing like a frozen face to begin a warm and humid day - the Glacial Lemon Chill soap delivered on the nice scent and the rich, stable lather as well as its unbelievably cold menthol sensation. The 444 balm and the Rubby Dubby Doo are indispensable for my aftershave rotation because they work so well. This Sharp blade is still holding up very nicely, so I'll keep shaving with it until Sunday. Another great BBS shave. ;) :D

I don't know how you can handle all that menthol. I tried glacial wintergreen, it almost hurt my face hahaha. I'm thinking of getting a nuns wanted shave cream to mix it with =P

    wow, great going.
I'm curious do you give them any special care. I.e. drying them, stropping them, anything to touch up the blade?
I ask because I liked them. but only the first two shaves, then downhill fast. I usually rinse off, three piece razors. tto's get the blade dried, razor washed, left out to dry.
I'm glad to hear your getting great life out of them.

    Thursday

Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Scots Pine Bath Soap
Soap: Mama Bear Ye Olde Barbershoppe
Razor: Gillette SS Red Tip Flare
    Blade: Gillette Platinum (3)
    Brush: Plisson #12 Grey Badger-22mmx56mm
    Aftershave: Canoe

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

I used my only Mama Bear soap again today, Ye Olde Barbershoppe. The Plisson loaded up enough for 3+ passes of excellent lather in about 30 seconds. Very nice barber shop scent! The Red Tip and Gillette Platinum did another great job. Excellent shave: smooth, close, and nick free. I finished with Canoe.
