I would have thought you were crazy if only a year ago you would have told me I would enjoy shaving. I was a little skeptical of using a Safety Razor at first , but now I must say I rather enjoy it. I thought about waiting a few months to post this as a sort of 1 year anniversary post, but I don't want to wait any longer. I do however have a humble shave den as you can see by the Medicine Cabinet link in my signature. and at first thought that I would not, and thought that the guys that did have one were insane. Boy was I wrong. Its's actually fun trying out different Razors, Soaps, Etc.
Crazy Shavers is a compliment, and you are one of us!!! How many people have you converted, or tried to convert? I was just in Wal-Mart in Anaheim, and saw a guy shaking his head and holding a pack of those multi-bladed almost 20 dollar Fusion cartridges. I so wanted to go tell him what to do, but I walked on.
My wife and 3 sons still have questions and serious concerns for my mental stability when I begin to wax poetic on the allure and 'awesomeness' of wet-shaving, which for the most part, eludes them.
Agreed. Shaving was a necessary daily chore for me before wet shaving came along. I was strictly a shower shaver. Now, it's every morning at the sink, "hmmm, which soap, blade, razor, after shave today?" And one has to hear the sweet, sweet scritch of the blade slicing through the whiskers, and feel the cool, cool burn of a nice after shave.
