Um I don't really have much to compare it to, but honestly I feel more menthol from the CO Bigelow soap than the Brain Freeze. But other than that I really like it.
Noxzema Classic Clean C.O. Bigelow Shave Cream VDH Natural Boar Schick M Adjustable Schick Injector Stainless Blade CWR Thayers Cucumber WH Aqua Velva Ice Blue The C.O. Bigelow was cool as I face lathered with my VDH Natural Boar brush. Two passes with the Schick M adjustable and Schick stainless blade left me with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and Aqua Velva Ice Blue after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
I never tried the Bigelow soap but I do have Proraso Green which is quite cooling indeed. Thanks for the info, my friend!
It is not really broken. That is what the theme week is supposed to be for this week. Thank you for your concern though.

TUESDAY Late Monday Eve Shave An early 4:00am start tomorrow means a quiet, relaxed shave tonight. Not that I mind in the least as I just received in the mail from Glen (Gemstarcustoms) my spiffy restored Dubl Duck Goldedge. Although the gold is missing from the razor's tang, this razor still has IT. Whoa! Truly the smoothest straight razor shaving experience I've had in the past 10 months! What a joy to use. For me, this has raised the bar on my expectations of what a good straight razor shave should feel like: no pulling, no tugging, no resistance...just smooth, easy whisker removal leaving behind a silky, smooth wake. This razor, in combination with the luxurious MdC lather, makes for a truly exemplary experience. I already look forward to tomorrow night's shave… Have a blessed Tuesday, all!

Sorry to hear that you broke your arm. Hope it heals or mends correctly. My wife broke her elbow when she was a child her arm healed but one ram is shorter than the other. Any way good luck.

Tuesday: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Large Horsehair Barbershop Super Speed/Rapira day 2 Stirling Black Ice SS Lubriderm Unscented Moisturizer Barbon AS Aramis EdT Here's another awesome soap from Rod which I highly recommend if you have sensitive skin and you enjoy menthol - this Black Ice has a black licorice scent which is really nice, with tremendous lather which is so easy to work with as well as a damned good menthol effect. The Barbon aftershave is a top-favourite of mine - its scent is very nice, but it doesn't clash with a cologne or eau de toilette. Two passes cleaned me up perfectly.
59’ E1 Fatboy (setting 9) Ladas (d2) Vulfix 404 TSD Old Spice SS Old Spice Pure Sport Been a while since I had an empty mug to break open a new soap, and even longer since TSD has been one of them. But a mug freed up so I threw in a TSD Old Spice puck from inventory. I was expecting my newer soaps (Palmolive, Cade, MWF, DR Harris) to cast a shadow on TSD, but TSD held its own and produced a comparably good lather and shave.
