Tuesday morning, July 8, 2014 Schick E2 Injector with Schick blade (6) Semogue 1305 boar bristle brush, Arko shaving soap with hot water lather, finish with cold water rinse for a CCS!
Tabacstag! Another amazing Tabac shave. Super slick lather starting with a damp HIS lather monster. My SC101 made smooth, easy work of my stubble. My face feels great. Synergy Bay Rum Aftershave Tonic is an excellent product, and it pairs well with Tabac cologne. Prep: RR/HTGAM lime menthol Soap: Tabac! Brush: HIS lather monster Razor: iKon ShaveCraft 101 Blade: Personna Lab Blue (1) AS: Synergy Bay Rum Tonic EdC: Tabac!
A fine blade and a good three pass BBS Brush: Rooney 1/1 Ivory& Best Soap: Tabac Razor: B1 Red Tip Blade: Schick
No change from yesterday but I am surprised how enjoyable it has been the last two days bowl lathering. I am going to try my nest set up with the salsa bowl, will probably like that better.
Razor: Wester Bros no 16 1/4 hollow + ER 1924 Blade: GEM Brush: Muhle Black Fiber Synthethic Lather: Mitchell's Wool Fat Post: Pinaud I had a better shave today. No tugging from the straight. On my chin it needs to be held completely flat otherwise it will scrape and tug awfully. I got cut on my cheek. The blade has a nick at the point so it left not a slice but a little hole there. One more problem. When using the straight flat it seems to just glide and not cut. Maybe MWF has TOO much cushion... Finished up with the '24 using a single WTG pass.

Wow! ymmv. I only have vintage razors, having tried and been unimpressed with new ones. I have everything from a 1920's Gillette Old Type to a 1960's era Schick Krona. Love them all.
