Razor: Wester Bros no 16 1/4 hollow + ER 1924
    Blade: GEM
    Brush: Muhle Black Fiber Synthethic
    Lather: Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Post: Pinaud

Still having trouble with the Straight. It cuts effortlessly on the sides of my face but it tugs a lot on my chin. I'm glad this isn't full hollow or I'm sure it would be flexing and cutting me up bad. This 1/4 hollow blade is very forgiving.

Finished up on my chin and neck with the '24.

Thanks Mike! I love this brush. The knot will do everything: soaps, croaps, and creams!

Maybe. I've only had 3 or 4 shaves with it and need to spend a little more time using it before coming up with an opinion. I will say that I've been enjoying it.

More likely that he's looking at the reflection at the bottom of the metal bowl. ;)

Every once in a while I grow my hair out in an attempt to see if I have the patience for it, and its maintenance etc. Every time its a resounding NOPE. Evening dome shave after 4 weeks of not shaving my head.

    Gillette Fusion Proglide
    Omega 10083 (Proraso) Boar

    Prep: No.7 Face Wash
    Razor: Gillette Sheraton
    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue
Brush: Chopped Made Rite Finest Badger
    Lather: Maggard Razors Fougère Sauvage
    Post: Maggard Razors Alum
    Aftershave: Barbasol Pacific Rush

This was my second time face lathering. I am becoming to believe that it is the only way to go. It makes a better lather, makes my face feel better, and l around seems easier and faster. I didn't think about the bumps on my face, so I had a bit of blood shed. I think I'll survive, but the alum sure let me know. One DFS.

This was my first go with the G-bar. Wow. This shave was extremely comfortable. I didn't even notice the blade until I went ATG. My throat area is still giving me problems, but everywhere else us BBS. I would venture to say this was one of the best shaves I've ever had.

Cella performed greatly like always. The lather really made a difference this shave. And Myrsol Formula F makes me smell awesome just how I like it.

This shave was just too good. I had high hopes for it and so far it hasn't let me down. It's not as close as my ER 1924, but I doubt many things come close to that.

Right...it's not as close as the 1914 Ever Ready I put in The Box, but it's overall more comfortable and shaves close enough. What do you make of the balance? For me it's about as perfect as any razor I've ever used.

And what blade? Didn't see you mention it.
