    I think I cut my sideburns off in 1983 or 1984 and have not had them back since. Too much effort to maintain. As you can see from my avatar, I prefer the tightly groomed look nowadays.

    Yeesh! This guy is like one of those balding hippies that keeps his 5 remaining hairs tied into a raggedy mop-string pony tail hanging off the back of his head. I want to tell them "Dude, just cut it off! Seriously!" but I never do.
    <sigh>

    I don't know, Dave just turned 70 a few months ago! :greet002:

    And I think he's had more or less the same head of hair for the last 30 years or so! :happy097:
    Looks like he's doing right by the septuagenarians to me. ;)

    Don't forget the mid-life-crisis earring that is 30 years past it's "sell by" date.

    Had to ditch the sideburns. Put on 30 pounds due to over consumption of fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches.

    Oh man...

    Just don't get the PB on the blue suede shoes. It'll never come out.

    Huh. I thought bears preferred honey and pick-a-nick baskets. <head_scratch>

    I had sideburns. Thick wide long ones that were Elvis length. I started when I was 12 years old and went 6 years with people asking daily when I would cut them off. When a day came that no one asked me that question, I cut them off. Then everyone asked how did I get the sides trimmed the correct level. I answered, I have been leveling them for 6 years and no one noticed. When I cut them off now everyone notices. I am now a CBS member so remember if you grow the burns you might wind up looking like ...
