1. I converted three people today to wet shaving all in one day! Couldn't be happier! :D

Who here has converted someone recently?
  2. I converted 2 students a couple weeks ago...they came in on monday with a story about the "pink foam" poor guy butchered his neck area. I tried to stress the importance of no pressure. He said he never even felt the razor cut him. It is still a work in progress, but the good thing is that they clearly saw the improvement from cartridges. I try to convert a least 1 a month.

  3. Way to go!
  4. I didn't know shaving was a cult where you needed to convert people :D I've converted my dad to injectors and a couple DE shavers to SEs.
  5. I've converted one friend. Gave him a Maggard razor as a gift. Now he's passed that on to his son and he's using a '65 Slim.

    Resistance is futile!
  6. You want to teach someone to use no presurre real quick? Tell to headshave with a DE.
  7. :happy096: to all of you spreaders of the faith!! :happy088: I took up "traditional" shaving about a year before I retired and managed to convert 5 people before I retired, it's a little harder now as I don't meet near as many new people now a days..:)
  8. Happens fairly frequently in my line of work….. :D
  9. With your wet shave do you use oils or cream?
  10. I've only got one convert. I don't openly look for people or talk about shaving to them. If they see me shaving and ask what I'm doing, then I'll fill them in.

  11. I don't have any converts yet, but perhaps will someday.

I use shaving soap, or cream very occasionally, and only use oil for squeaky door hinges. That makes all my shaves pretty good, and all my doors nice and quiet.
