  3. ERN S525 10 Years Guarantee
This is one of the first NOS razor buys. Two ERNS and one J A Henckles I won at the same time on ebay. The factory edge shaves perfectly. I bought it from the nuns of Blauvert, NY who had an benefit auction on ebay. The nuns received the razors from a guy who owned a grinding shop that closed in the 1950's. These were found in the abandoned business.

  4. That's a beauty, Robert! I've seen ERNs come up on ebay at times, but I know little about them. I almost pulled the trigger on one a while ago, but thought it best to find out more about them before committing $$....

Not the type of item I'd expect to purchase from nuns at an auction. :p

Yes, I even received nice emails from one of the nuns who gave me the history of the razors and of what their convent did.

To dark for pics this morning. I'll try and get a photo up during my lunch hour if I get one. Very nice shave today. The Prior is a nice shaving razor. When I bought it it had a pawn slip in the coffin for $15 from the '80's. I paid $20 for it. Have a good one

  18. Revisor Mungstener Brucke 8/8 horn scales
I just received this yesterday. Obie Yadgar, a long time straight razor user and retired journalist in Milwaukee (Glendale, actually) sold it to me. He put a very smooth edge on it. A nice shave.

Revisor is a company brought back to life in Solingen, Germany by a father and son. They bought the old factory and restored it and filled it with the new machinery, but used the original name. They also found a large stock of the original owners new old stock Schulze razors among others.
