    Hi
Yesterday my daughter gave me a buzz cut. I'm thinking about shaving my head. Do you use lotion on your scalp? How many passes do you take? How often do you shaver your head? Can I use the same setup I use for my face? Shower/wash/soap/witch hazel/aftershave? I know YMMV, just need some insight.
    Thanks in advance.

    I head shave daily.

    Shower first.

I use the same prep, brush, lather, and post shave treatment.

Usually (95% of the time) I use the same razor as the face.

Passes 1-2 depending upon the mood and the need.

No special lotions other than the same witch hazel, shaving balm and alum for any weepers.

    I hope this helps.

Be careful man. I attemepted one DE headshave and it could have been worse but it could have been better. Witch Hazel did feel good though as a post.

I shave my head every other day or every third day, depending upon how busy I am. My prep is very similar to for my face, wash or shower, lather and shave. I generally make 2 passes and I always go from front to back. Of course some of the front starts pretty far back! I use whatever aftershave I have out that day - this summer it has been Captain's Choice Lime. I use either a Fat Handle Tech or my Gillette NEW LC for my headshave - dependent upon amount of stubble.

Thanks for posting this, I've been interested in this as well. I've been using a Gillette styler without a guard to trim my head but lately I've been thinking about just shaving it all off. I may experiment with some razors soon. Let us know how it works out for you.

    Daily head shaver here :)

Usually I shower, pre-shave oil, soap, witch hazel, balm, after shave.
Before when I was shaving with carts, I used regular lotion on my head. Since I've been wet shaving, the product I use are much better and skin friendly so now I just occasionally add some moisturizer if I feel particularly dry or tight up there.

I took to DE shaving the dome pretty quick after the first shave. I use the same setup for my neck, I don't shave my face. You should try it. It's just hair, if you don't like it it will grow back! :D

G-d only made a few perfect heads. The rest got hair. I love my husband's shaven head. He also uses the same prep for face & head.

    A lady's perspective...I like a clean shaven head over a buzz cut!

My husband shaves his head every other day...he does it in the shower if in hurry or at the sink if he has time! He used to use multiple products. However, he has switched to one scented shaving oil that he shaves with and it moisturizes too so no lotion afterwards.

I love the smell and a nice shaved dome :)
