That's really neat your grandfather started to teach you. I think it would be fun to brew with my sons, and later my grandsons.

 

The HydroMagic does look beefier, maybe not as light. I've been getting great shaves with the two I have. I'm going to search for bottles, I told my wife about home brewing, she's on board! She likes that kind of stuff. Much like my shaving addiction..

 

My first Stirling order:

Bay Rum shave soap (probably replacing Ogallala, which is not working as I'd hoped)
Ben Franklin bath soap - the S/O chose this
Glacial Obsidian shave soap - and I like anise/licorice a good deal
and a tin.
