1. Found in the wild for $10. There are no manufacturing marks at all. Who could of made this set. I might use the brush after cleaning it. [IMG]

  2. Very good price for that set. The whole thing would polish up very nicely, but most guys don't use T-II.
  3. I would love to see that brush after it is cleaned up.
  4. I was thinking of using the razor when travelling on short overnights in a carry on.

  5. That is an wonderful set for only $10. Several companies over the years have made similar Trac II handles and sets, Old Spice, Franklin Toiletries under the Barbershop brand, Crabtree and Evelyn, Col Conk and Merkur to name a few.

The Trac II is an outstanding razor, and the brush might might turn out to be a very solid performer.
  6. The first lather using my bowl and Dove Hydrate

Here it is rinsed and still wet. I think it will be used tomorrow.

  7. I think the Trac II is a great razor. Nice find.
  8. They make a Shave cream? I cannot seem to find it.
  9. It is available in drugstores in Canada. The tube I have I got in a passaround from Ireland.
  10. Sadly Dove Hydrate shave cream contains Sodium Laureth Sulfate...
  11. Ihad never used a twin blade other than the cheap disposable Gillette Twins. So I got curious and recently picked up a Trac II handle with 50 Personna blades on Amazon. I really do like the shave I get from it. I also discovered my local Dollar General carries blades for it for less than $2 for 5. I figure I will keep this in my line up. It won't ever be more than an "on occasion" use but it is nice to have. :)
  12. who are the DG blades made by?
  13. Not sure ... could be Dorco?
