Well, actually just outside of N.O., about 20 minutes from The Quarter. Been straight shaving a few years now, honing and restoring almost as long. Not too much on following the 'accepted practices' as mentioned on most forums. Made knives and sold at gun shows years back and got into razors with some existing practices. Haven't had chance to look around enough to say more. Thanks for having me and I hope I can add to the fun a little.

Stay pretty busy so probably won't be able to visit as often as I would like, but will make an effort to look around and get to know you and your Den better. I keep thinking about shaving this beard off so I can enjoy shaving even more, but afraid my wife would not recognize me, ah, I might not recognize me. Besides, then I would not have an excuse to shave with small straights, and we would have to all argue about who's is bigger. Too old for that! Thanks again for the welcome.
