  3. From my trip States side I paid a visit to the Art of Shaving and couldn't resist picking up some Lavender shave cream. I will give it a try next week sometime as I want to finish up my GFT Lime sample I recently acquired first. Very impressed with the AoS shop and slightly disappointed I didn't have time to get a shave there.

A little Musgo AS and bath soap, 100 Gillette Yellows (my current favorite), and a Vie Long horsehair with olivewood handle, just because I never tried a horsehair and figured I should.;)

  7. My GEM G-Bar came in today. It came with 4 unused Don Juan double edge blades. I have no idea how these two got paired together. The blades will go for show. The G-bar cleaned up with minimal work. It looked like it had hardly ever been used. The case cleaned up nicely with Dawn as well. I have read a lot of good things about this razor, and I look forward to using it.

  12. The M6 has finally arrived in Portugal, and AFAIK it's the only one:

  13. You will find all 3 brushes very different
  14. You got a good wife there!
  15. Another purchase I made on vacation came in today, and I'm much happier then my previous straight purchase. The cases are in extremely rough shape, but the razors themselves don't look bad and best of all, no cracks!

  16. I actually really do! :D

The only one I have yet to use is the M6, and while I do enjoy my Jubilee brush, the CH3's hair is simply stunning. It's currently one of the two favorite brushes in my rotation.

  18. Most cases tend to be in pretty rough shape on vintage straights. So long as the SR is intact, all is good! :happy088:
    Those should clean up nicely!
Do be mindful of the gold wash on the Union blade when cleaning. It doesn't take much effort in cleaning to accidentally remove the wash. Regrettably, I speak from experience...;)
