1. The Marlborough scent has been described as ...'warm, woody—think cedar/sandalwood, masculine..."
DR Harris derived the name from the English county of Wiltshire, an area of some English historical significance— despite the more modern affiliations often made of the name with American cigarettes. ;)

  6. Just think of the delayed gratification as an opportunity for you to try an even greater variety of soaps before you hit the BUY button on the MdC.

6/8 Joseph Rodgers & Sons Wedge, Hollow Point
    Proraso PSC
    TOBS SC - St. James
    Georgetown Scuttle
    Lijun Finest Badger
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Gold Bond Moisturizing Lotion
    Statson Cooling Moisture ASL

The Joseph Rodgers is another 150 + years old razor that is an outstanding performer. I had to match it up with the TOBS this morning as it seemed very appropriate for this fine English blade. ;)

  15. Thanks. The R41s are my favorites (2010, 2011 and 2013). I am stress testing the Astra blade. I am up to 14 days with this one blade so far. The Cade soap has really done well for me. The CMON I purchased from Lindyhopper and it is a wonderful shaver.

  16. For some reason, auto-correct changes my 'the' into 'there' practically every time I type. I may have to begin using 'da' instead. Example: "Da Dubl Duck straight razor is the bestest one of dem all!" ;)
