August 27 Brush: Whipped Dog 30/45 Silvertip Razor: Gillette 195 Fat Boy date code F1 first qtr 1960 Blade: Feather Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue Cream: Castle Forbes Cedarwood & Sandalwood Post shave: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel, Jack Black cooling gel Florida Water Only had the Whipped Dog Silvertip for a week, what a brush! I have sensitive skin and this brush is so soft. It's set deep so it still has backbone. I use mostly creams so this works great. The Castle Forbes explodes in the OS cobalt Blue Mug, and I like the earthy scent. My FB at 6 with a new Feather sang a great song for a DFS. First time for the Thayers Cucumber WH. No alcohol like the Dickinson that I also use. JB cooling gel is still the best for my face, and had to try the Florida Water. Has a cinnamon scent with citrus. I like it. Florida Water from NY made in NJ Trivia The Gillette 195 known as the "Fat Boy" was originally priced at $1.95 which is how it got the 195 name. Let's see, I spent $62 for mine.

So how are you enjoying your Model 6200? I did enjoy mine (see below), but I wound up buying two new razors (an R41 & another) for the price I sold the Fat Boy for...
I hear ya Kevin! That really ticks me off when it does that. I just typed an e-mail explaining I canNOT be somewhere tonight and it changed it to CAN....sort of changes the whole meaning of what I wanted to say!

Dove Men's Face Wash Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap Burma Shave Boar GEM G-bar CVS SE and GEM Stainless CWR Thayers Rose Petal WH Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap face-lathered very easily with my Burma Shave Boar brush. Two passes with my GEM G-bar and CVS/GEM Stainless blades gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... Note: This was my second shave with the CVS SE blade. I did the first pass, and it was terrible. I switched it out with a GEM Stainless PTFE coated blade, and it made all the difference. Wow.
I completely forgot to post this: Today's shave...The M6 is amazing! It performed much better than I thought it would...and I had high expectations.
