Skipped the dome shave as I detected a head weeper a hour after I posted yesterday.I call this type of head weeper the Silent One,as I sure didn't feel it and no blood was found til a hour after the fact. The face got a nice 2 pass BBS shave!

    Stay frosty,my friends!
  2. Every time I cut, nick, or make weep, I know exactly where the fault lays.

  5. This is a repeat post. Post Reply takes a while sometimes and you think you need to post again.
  6. I have the same thing happen sometimes when I go to the bathroom. I think it's just because I'm getting older.
  7. I took care of it :)

  9. Wednesday

Prep: soak brush, wash with Clear Essentials glycerin soap
    Soap: Queen Charlotte unscented
    Brush: Oscar11 boar
    Razor: Feather AS-D2
    Blade: Feather
    After: Cold rinse, CeraVe lotion

I hardly ever use the Queen Charlotte soap, but every time I do, I am pleased by the quality of the lather and performance. This unscented soap had a slightly harsh soapy smell compared to my other unscented soaps, so I guess that's why it's not in my top tier, but the performance is excellent.

Great shave, my face feels good!

  11. I use the straight for my cheeks and neck. Then, I use the DE for the goatee area. It is weird, but it works for me.

  13. 9/3/2014

Prep: Hot shower with L'Oreal Men Expert Facial Wash, home made PSO
Razor: Gillette Fat Boy (3), H. Boker & Co Master Razor straight razor
    Blade: Astra SP (3)
Brush: Vie Long Horse Hair 23mm knot
    Soap: Tabac
After: Home made ASB, Tabac after shave
    Cologne: Tabac Eau De Cologne

Another Darn Fine Shave this morning. I probably could have gotten away with not shaving today due to the close shave that I got yesterday. But, I just had to complete the routine. The Tabac products have never let me down and today was no different.

    Have a blessed day!

  16. Makes sense to me. Cheeks and neck are easiest with a straight for me.
  17. Wednesday 09/03/14

    Prep: Gaia face scrub
    Oil: Shave Secret
Brush: 20mm Whipped dog set deep
    Scuttle: Georgetown Pottery
    Razor: Gillette New Open Comb
    Blade: Feather
    soap: Pre de Provence
    Post: alum sprayed on
    Witch Hazel: Generic unscented
    AS: Sampson's all natural

I went back to the NEW this morning. It gave a much nicer shave than the old did. 2.5 passes and bbs.
  18. Razor: Schick J Injector
    Blade: Personna injector
    Brush: Muhle Black Fiber Synthetic
    Lather: Provence Sante
This soap works very well with my injector not so with my GEMs. Some possible factors: the soaps lack of slickness and lack of beard softening combined with the GEM blade's lack of PTFE coating and lack of sharpness as compared to the Injector blade. I loaded for 20 seconds as opposed to 60 yesterday. Still the same excellent results.

  19. For the short time I had in the downtown area it seemed to be a really cool place. A very young and active nightlife with many interesting places to spend the evening. I think Seattle is one of the most progressive cities in the country in that respect. Very positive vibes from that city compared to other cities which are on the decline. (My home town of St. Louis for example...trying to get better but just not making it and, the feeling of being unsafe all the time!) I hope we can have a chance to hook up the next time I'm in that fine City and I can hear your band and we can have a few cool ones. :eatdrink047:

    Wednesday Morning Shave
    Razor:
    Gillette Slim Twist White Handle
    Blade: Rapira (1)
    Brush: Vie-Long White Horse Hair
    Cream: Nivea.
    Cologne: Tariş Lavender

It was an awesome shave. Nivea cream softened my face like velvet and the razor glided easily.
