I have been DE shaving for about a year. Merkur 34C and derby blades. Just ventured out to a EJ 89 and persona made in Israel. Also have 2 1965 Gillette's. Looking forward dot learning from everyone here. By the way have use clubman for a while just received some captains Choice Bay Rum. But prefer the clubman.

to TSD "Anthony278" Nice starting kit you have there. Do you have a large blade sampler pack yet? They really are kind of a nessecity, the more different blades you can try the better. I have both an EJ89 and a Merkur 34C. Both are good razors, but the EJ has the advantage IMO of being a 3 piece and so is capable of handle changes. I also like Original Clubman and Clubman Virgin Island Bay Rum. Have you ever tried Lilac Vegital? While it's also made by Clubman, it's a kind of love it or hate it scent. If you'd like to try some IMO "VERY" good blades made by Personna give Viking's Sword a try..
I have tried wilkinson, and Persona USA like the Israel blades so far. I want to get some Florida Water AS to try just have to order online. can't fins it here in the Carolinas.
Florida Water has a really nice scent IMO, I really like it a lot, it's just not long lasting. It's easy to find locally around here in South Louisiana.
