I saw it on ebay, 5.3oz unscented shaving cream for $9.50 but I can't seem to find any reviews on it.
I can't decide. I am out of TOBS Sandalwood, and the True Gentlemen cedar looks tempting. I know the quality of TOBS, but the other brand is an unknown and with the way I've been spending money lately ~my mean wife will beat me if I order both.
Well I pulled the trigger and ordered the Cedar and the unscented. $16.00 for the 2 jars from Ebay. It may have been a good deal seeing as how they go for $25.00 a piece on the True Gentlemen's site. I'll let everyone know how it performs when I get it.
I've never heard of this, but as I am not a true gentleman, it would likely not work for the likes of me.
We can all agree that is a statement that needed to be made. You have acknowledged that you have a problem, now the healing can begin.
All of the feedback left for the seller on this item was very good and some were saying that it was just as good as the AOS creams, so for the price I'm willing to give it a shot.
I have to say that it's a very nice cream. It lathers very quickly and effortlessly in the bowl, producing a very rich, thick lather. The lather held up very well and didn't dry out during the shave. It had a good amount of cushion and slickness to it. It also left my skin feeling very nice. I will also add that it left a very nice but not overpowering scent. I would highly recommend this cream and will definetly be getting more in the future. You can get it on Ebay 1 jar for $9.50, or 2 for $16.00 which is much cheaper than the $25 a jar it sells for on the True Gentlemen site.
Thanks, good to know. How does it compare to TOBS or AOS? Did you become more gentlemanly afterwards?
I would say that for me it was just as good as either of those creams. Well after my shave I was definitely more well mannered, opening doors for women, and had an overwhelming urge to don a top hat.
Thank you sir for your refreshing review. I will be inclined to place an order. It may help keep my southern manners honed. A toast to you sir.
Do you think pairing this with Clubman would make one overdose on gentlemanliness, or achieve just the right amount?
