SOTD 9-14-2014 5/8 Torrey, Full Hollow, Round Point Proraso PSC Tiki Frosted Woodland SC Georgetown Scuttle Lijun Finest Badger Dickinson's Witch Hazel Gold Bond Moisturizing Lotion Stetson Cooling Moisture ASL I noticed that a lot are doing the cold shave this week but, I just can't get into the cold thing. It just feels icky after years of warm lather from my scuttles. Everyone is different and that is what makes the wet shaving world an interesting and ever changing place but for me ...it's nice warm lather for sure. Speaking of nice warm lather...the Tiki Frosted Woodland SC makes tons of it and the menthol blast from it does a great cooling effect. Paired with the Stetson Cooling Moisture at the finish; a very nice cool after shaving feeling.
Sunday, September 14, 2014 Prep: Warm shower, Cetaphil Lotion Razor: Schick Injector Adjustable M2 Blade: Personna (3) Lather: WSP Lavender Rustic Soap Brush: Oscar11 w/ Omega 20248 Knot Post: Witch Hazel, Cetaphil Lotion Aftershave: Shulton Old Spice What an incredible shave! While the Schick Adjustable has been giving a close shave, it just hasn't been quite what I expected based on the hype. Today, I cranked it all the way up and finished with an incredible shave. The WSP Lavender soap has a wonderful, natural scent and it performs as well as it smells. Have a great day!
Sunday Early morning Shave Five in the a.m. & all is quiet…just a relaxed, peaceful shave with the ol' reliable Hersko. A few more cups of coffee afterwards and I was ready to really face the day… Have a blessed Sunday, all!
Sounds like you are having a great time in Lake Oswego Guy! Floating in the pool and watching football all day and...eating Bar-B-Q from the grill. Life is good! Enjoy your visit and ...go Seahawks! :rah:

I'm with you warm lather is the way to go, I need to feel my face to get a good shave, as I listen to the razor and blade do their work. I put my mug in the sink with hot water as I whip up some lather. Not a scuttle but it works for me.
Thanks Bruce. We are grilling Carne Asada right now for lunch and will be grilling Salmon for dinner. Going to be a great day!
and thanks to you also, very happy with our endeavor. my mother recognized her father's brush straightaway.
Supermax Trac II clone Supermax SII carts Muhle STFV2 3P @Jayaruh I've given the Supermax SII blades a try. I would skip over them... They are quite rough and not that sharp. Better than disposables but Id get the Personnas or Dorcos. Both are much smoother.YMMV of course.

Wednesday-Sunday Vacation shave kit Prep: wash with Clear Essentials glycerin soap Soap: Petal Pusher Fancies "Scentsless" Brush: Whipped Dog synthetic Razor: Gillette Tech Blade: Personna Med Prep After: Cold rinse, CeraVe lotion This was my small shave kit while I was on vacation a few days in Stehekin, WA. This place is truly off the grid: no phones, no cell phones, and the only way to get in or out is by boat or float plane. Great place for hiking! We didn't exactly camp out, we stayed at a little resort that was very comfortable. A hot tub is great after a long mountain hike. This was the view from the hot tub!
Wow... haven't thought about British Sterling in years. My father used to wear that. Now I may have to go look for some!
