SoS - Saturday, September 20, 2014 Cool shower Prep: Homemade PSO Brush: Vulfix 374 super badger Cream: Speick Razor: Merkur 38C Blade: Derby (2) Post: Nivea Men Sensitive PSB Aftershave: Speick ASL The Vulfix 374 was my first brush, and I realized today that I have been taking it for granted recently and passing it up in favor of brushes with much larger knots. It is a wonderful brush and I'd forgotten just how much control and flow through is gained with a smaller knot (I believe the 374's knot is 20 or 21mm). It builds lather much quicker than my larger brushes and feels great on my face. The overall performance of the Vulfix is only rivaled by the Duke 3 in my humble arsenal. I will have to remember to give it more attention going forward. Finally, the Speick products never fail to provide a quality shave. - Don

Honestly, ties are expensive. $45 dollars for an acceptable looking tie. I couldn't complain if she did, but I would tell her what shaving soaps i want.
