    gorgo2 geezerhood

    Morning shave:

    °Slim on 3
    °mint vintage Spoiler
    °VDH w/Omega

2 pass no-nick DFS+. Wasn't in the mood to go for the gold on this one but an excellent razor...whenever I put any Gillette aside for awhile, it's always a revelation when I pick it up again.

a/s: $3 Skin Bracer , bought on a lark at Family Dollar. Noticed what I thought was a light citrus note after the vanilla died off a bit. Felt great on the face, possibly better than Brut does, may add to the rotation.

    Dove Men's Face Wash
    ARKO Extra Performance Shaving Cream
    Turkish #6
    Schick M-2
    Schick Plus Platinum
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Rose Petal WH
    Aqua Velva Ice Blue

The ARKO Shaving Soap face-lathered very easily with my new Turkish #6 Brush. Two passes with my Schick M-2 and Schick Plus Platinum blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Aqua Velva Ice Blue after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

If they are made in Japan and not in China and imported into Japan, then yes. I do not know if Schick still has operational facilities in Japan.

OK. I'm not sure where these are made...my Japanese ends at about 20 kanji characters, and the back of the pack is all kanji. ;) I didn't know there were Japanese made ones. Enjoy them!

I love that brush. It's my go to. Do you use the cleaning feature of your Dial Adjustable?

The Krona razor was made in support of those particular blades in the mid 1960s. Enjoy them!

The M1 said Schick Dial. I have the M2 that says Adjustable by Schick. It does not have a cleaning feature. I also have one that says Schick Adjustable. It doesn't have one either. If I am missing something, would you let me know.

Where is the cleaning feature on a dial adjustable? Schick Golden 500 and HydroMagic have it.

I thought the M-2 and /or the M-3 had a mechanism similar to the Hydomatic Lever. But now that I look at it it may be a Blade protector, not a cleaning mechanism. Sorry!

I mistook the blade protector lever for a cleaning mechanism so sorry.
