Open Comb October... Merkur 11C, probably late 1950s. I repainted the handle to match the original white, and replaced the cap, which had a lot of corrosion from a blade that was left in the razor over the years. Here's how I received it...

you are correct. I checked the serial number more closely. the last number is a c, I had thought it to be an 0. my razor is a model 126, made in 1928. Sorry for the confusion.
today was a Gillette long comb new with a ball end handle. no date code on this one, but it's pretty old also.

Grey Flannel ASB Excellent shave! Im getting some of my best irritation free shaves ever! Using this OC, extremely close and comfortable. I've had this system for 2 months and hadn't used the OC plate until yesterday, why did I wait?! Stirling Grapefruit was perfect as always. Go Giants! Go out and get it!
