A comfortable almost BBS shave this morning. The Badger whipped the Macca Root SC wonderfully. The Senator and the Torrey had no problems with mowing down the stubble in 2 passes. The AV brought the chill and the Prada will keep me smelling great all day. My wife even said that I smelled good this morning. Have a blessed day!
SOTD October 3 OC OCtober Prep: hot shower Razor: Aristocrat TTO Open Comb Blade: BIC platinum (day 2) Brush: Vie-Long Cream: Speck Men Active Passes: 2 (WTG, XTG) Post: Dove Men Hydrate+ An aggressive shave today, two passes left my face irritated and smooth... Not the preferred combination. I tried the Speck Men Active sample this morning. I can't place it but I find the scent familiar. I enjoyed the scent, but think it might be too strong for for the rest of the family.
FRIDAY Early Morning Shave Up early this AM due to discomfort in my healing wrist. Pain meds are the answer (I forgot to take them last night…duh!). Opted to try an R41 shave (the milder 2013 version) with the right hand. Two passes were more enough (no need for a BBS as I'm off work & 'on vacation.'). Passable results—no blood. Have a great Friday, everyone! Gonna be a warm one here! (95°F!)

So when we were walking in the mall and turned a corner to see an Art of Shaving store I was like “perfect!”.... No bull at That Shave Life!

Go out and get it!

Frey's Day: Prep: Hot shower, Neutrogena Invigorating Face Cleanser, TSD Jasmine Sambac Preshave balm Brush: Simpson 56 Best Badger Croap: RazoRock Cumba Cheech Razor: Merkur 41c 1904 OC Blade: Bic Chrome Platinum (4) Passes: WTG, XTG, ATG (9, 10, 11) Post: Cold water splash, Bloc Osma Alum, Dickinson's WH, RazoRock Cumba Cheech ASB Cologne: Jasmin et Cigarette by Etat Libre d' Orange Starting to feel like myself again, at least enough to put a sharp object against my face. In deference to the 2-days' growth of fuzz on my cheeks, I bowl-lathered the RazoRock to ensure I had enough cushion; it produced enough lather that I could have started again from scratch. For four days and double-digit passes, the Bic held up very well. Three passes, BBS results, no irritation save one weeper on a known trouble spot.

Friday 10/03/14 Prep: Nutregena face cleanser Oil: Shave Secret Brush: 20mm Whipped dog set deep Scuttle: Georgetown Pottery Razor: Gillette new open comb (long) Blade: Ladas soap: Catie's Bubbles Spanish Holiday Witch Hazel: Generic unscented I used the sample of Catie's Bubbles again today and noticed that I seem to go through this particular soap quickly. It makes a nice & slick lather, but it definitely doesn't last as long in the jar as some of the others I have used. Nice shave today with 2 passes and DFS.

I'm enjoying the Ogallala Bay Rum, thanks @Shotwell! My wife says she likes it the best of all of my aftershaves. Peace in the household!

FaTip Chrome Grande with UFO Godzilla handle/Gillette Silver Blue (2) cold water rinse Monster Block Alum cold water rinse Tend Skin Thayer's Lemon WH TSD ISZ ASM Montale Black Aoud I would never think of calling a FaTip a smooth shaver ,but today was a exception.I don't know if it was the extra weight of Godzilla,the slickness of the lather but it was dang smooth!BBS face and dome!
