Here is my planned shave for tomorrow. I really should not be shaving because of it being Yom Kippur, but I cannot resist so here it is. Saturday: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Large Horsehair Barbershop Super Speed/Sharp day 6 Synergy Frost_byte SS 444 AS Balm Osage Rub AS Pino Sivestre EdT This set-up is less intensely-cold than the one I used today but it's still very, very cold. The Frost_byte soap is one of the easiest latherers I ever saw and its scent is very nice in my honest opinion now. Its menthol power, while being not quite as strong as my Glacial soaps is still damned cold and I'd give the skincare department very high marks as well. It's hard to beat the 444 balm and the Rubby Dubby Doo for additional freezing - only the Glacial Wintergreen witch hazel which I used today can do it. I hope the Sharp blade can go until Sunday because last week the one I was using suddenly crapped out on me!

Yesterday I had Physical Therapy on my Neck, and Back. My hands seem to feel a little better. I had a BBS Shave toning. I have to go to Nevada on Family business so I want to leave early in the day tomorrow. Being as they are having the Miramar Marine Corps Air Station Air Show this weekend and it's supposed to start at around 0900hrs. If we leave the storage Yard in the RV around 1000hrs, we should not have too much traffic by Miramar MCAS. And maybe get to Las Vegas for the night before or just shortly after 1830hrs.

Saturday Noon Shave - Sacrifice Feast Shave Razor: Gillette Black Beauty (S7) Blade: Astra Blue (1) Brush: Vie-Long White Horse Hair Soap: Proraso AS: Brut Original This shave was a little bloody with several nicks this time. Although I took a hot shower and had a cold shave, the result was a little frustrating. Brut AS soothed my face.

Smooth Saturday Maggard's London Barbershop is even better the second time. The scent seemed stronger and I dialed in the lather more effectively, too. It pairs well with Aqua Velva Ice Blue Sport. I also used HTGAM FrostByte lotion on a few tender spots on my neck. Overall this was an enjoyable shave and my skin feels great. Prep: ATG soap Soap: Maggard's London Barbershop Brush: HIS XL Razor: iKon SC101 Blade: Personna lab blue AS: Aqua Velva Ice Blue, HTGAM FrostByte lotion
10/4/14 Prep: hot shower Lather: hobbyist made lavender Brush: Vie-Long 13061M Razor: Gillette New SC Blade: Voskhod (5 and 1) Post: cool rinse and Ogallala Bay Rum 2 passes on my face and 2 passes on my scalp on my Saturday shave. The blade was done after my face shave, so I put in a fresh blade and kept rolling on. I've decided that Voskhods are good for 10 passes or 5 total shaves for me. My face and scalp shaves are 2 passes so I get almost a work week from the blades. Wait, I work a 4 day week, so I do get a work week out of each blade!

First shave with the Griffon after having it professionally honed. I picked it up locally for $6.50 so I'm quite pleased that it turned out to be a good shaver.
